Sciens Building Solutions seeks an Associate Project Manager (PM) responsible for executing fire and life safety system projects in Jacksonville, FL. You will work with the sales, installation, and client teams to ensure sound design, seamless installation, and professional commissioning, while maintaining budgets and quality.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a project manager in construction.
• Working knowledge of applicable code requirements.
• Ability to estimate and propose change orders on projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials and equipment to meet schedule and budget.
• Maintain open lines of communication with customers, contractors and project partners.
• Review design drawings for conformance with regulations and standards.
• Assist Operations Manager with manpower planning.
• Collaborate with finance to review billings and obtain customer approval.
• Provide monthly updates on project budgets and cost-to-completes.
• Participate in pre-bid reviews and project turnover meetings.
• Manage job costs, billing and margins.
• Ensure PPE is in place per project requirements and safety policies.
• Comply with Sciens safety programs and procedures.
