Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Inspector to perform inspections, testing and maintenance on low voltage electrical, sprinkler and life safety systems. You will work with laptops, mobile devices, and hand tools to document and archive inspections, completing tasks on schedule.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, NICET certification, and the ability to travel including overnight stays. A High School Diploma or equivalent and Inspector Entrée training are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems and Fire and /or Life Safety Systems experience required.
NICET Certification required or preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent; Inspector Entrée Course completed.

Responsibilities

Inspect Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines and related equipment.
Perform testing, service and preventative maintenance.
Input, retrieve and archive inspection documents via laptop or mobile device.
Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected.
Provide technical training to junior inspectors and trainees.
