Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced inspector to conduct routine inspections, testing, service and preventative maintenance on low voltage life safety systems. This role involves working with low voltage wiring, documenting findings, and performing minor repairs as needed.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow schedules are essential. Applicants should have 3–4 years of experience with low voltage electrical and life safety systems, plus the ability to work physically

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems and Fire and /or Life Safety Systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electrical, sprinkler or suppression life safety product lines and related equipment.
• Maintain and document inspection records via laptop or mobile device.
• Perform minor repairs and programming changes to inspected systems.
• Provide technical training to less experienced inspectors and trainees.
• Schedule and complete inspections on time.
