Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking Inspectors to conduct routine inspections, testing and maintenance on low voltage life safety equipment. You will handle wiring, service acknowledgements, and a structured inspection schedule to ensure safe operations.

The role requires 3–4 years of low voltage experience and NICET certification; weekend work and lifting up to 40 feet may be required. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems and Fire and/or Life Safety Systems.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting systems and following instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical, sprinkler or suppression life safety product lines; perform routine inspections, testing and preventive maintenance.
• Work with low voltage wiring and related devices; complete service acknowledgements with proper coding.
• Input, retrieve and archive inspection documents via laptop or mobile devices; maintain inspection schedule.
