Job summary

Ace Technologies, LLC in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Senior Fire Alarm Technician to install, program and service Fire Alarm systems, lead installation projects, manage budgets and coordinate with customers on integrating other building systems.

You will travel to job sites across Florida and Georgia, diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations, and mentor service crews while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position/field.
• NICET II certification or higher preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Electrical background and knowledge of electronic equipment.
• Low voltage background including relays, loops, and inputs/outputs.
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and test equipment.
• Ability to travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs physical security systems at customer locations to restore full functionality.
• Performs preventative maintenance as required by service and maintenance contract.
• Troubleshoots issues remotely using provided software and internet connection.
• Travels to customer locations throughout Florida and Georgia.
• Works independently to research and resolve equipment issues.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Assists with other technical support issues as needed.
