Sciens Building Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Systems Technician with programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting capabilities. You will work with sales, field teams, and clients to ensure sound design, installation, and commissioning of fire alarm solutions.

The role requires coordination with AHJs, thorough reporting, and hands-on project leadership to meet safety standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years in a technician role within the fire-life safety industry.
• NICET II or higher certification is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of NFPA 72 and related fire code requirements.

Responsabilités

• Review system layouts and coordinate with engineering, PM, and sales for project execution.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.
• Program and commission complex fire alarm systems leading to AHJ acceptance.
• Interact with AHJs for testing and resolution of issues.
• Produce commissioning and inspection reports per NFPA standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Program systems via laptop computers.
• Oversee project and vehicle inventory.
• Demonstrate equipment operation to customers and explain proper use.
• Manage onsite projects including safety, quality, and performance.
