Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc. seeks a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems in the Pasadena area.

You will respond to scheduled and emergency service requests, program systems, and communicate effectively with building owners and contractors. Preferred candidates will have 2+ years in the Fire Alarm/Low Voltage field, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Fire Alarm/Low Voltage industry.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Proficient with industry equipment including MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills and professional customer interactions.
• Regular, reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and perform troubleshooting, repair, or replacement of system equipment.
• Program fire alarm systems or have experience with low voltage products (fire alarm, access control, security, CCTV).
• Resolve problems by researching alternatives and communicating status to management.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications; interpret manuals and software programs.
• Assist customers on-site and address questions in a timely, professional manner.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation.
