Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Leader 2 with design and implementation experience in technology applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with fire alarm systems, IBC, NEC, NFPA codes as they apply to facilities and plants. This position is in our Life Safety Group to support multiple customers and project sites. You will lead a diverse team, develop cost estimates, schedule design and installation kick‑offs, ensure quality, coordinate with field personnel, and keep

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in applications engineering with at least 5 years in project leadership responsible for budget, schedule and delivery.
• B.S. Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• IBC, NEC, and NFPA code knowledge or the ability to ramp up in this area.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects ranging from $500K-$3M in contract value and up to $5M in annual volume.
• Lead fire alarm detection and special suppression systems contracts.
• Develop cost estimates and proposals.
• Schedule and lead design and installation kick-off meetings.
• Ensure design quality and successful on-time delivery.
