Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in applications engineering with at least 5 years in project leadership responsible for budget, schedule, and delivery.
• B.S. Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• IBC, NEC, and NFPA code knowledge or willingness to learn and ramp up in this area.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers, management, and trades.
• Experience managing multiple projects with contract values ranging from $500K to $3M and up to $5M annual volume.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple contracts valued from $500K to $3M with engineering and field staff.
• Lead fire alarm detection and special suppression systems contracts as part of design-build or direct contracts.
• Develop cost estimates and proposals.
• Schedule and lead design and installation kick-off meetings.
• Plan projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Review designs for manufacturability and quality, and oversee pre-testing prior to site delivery.
• Coordinate with AHJ inspections and approvals.
