Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Installer to join our growing team. The installer will perform routine installation and checkout on a variety of systems using codes, company procedures, engineering drawings, and personnel analysis.

Develops a positive interface with the customer to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the system installation. Take ownership of onsite projects with safety, quality, and performance at the forefront.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in fire alarm, voice/data, and security installation.
Solid working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
Advanced ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of onsite projects including safety, quality and performance.
Train, mentor, and lead team members and jobs.
Install commercial & industrial 3-phase electrical power systems.
Install all types of electrical conduit and complete onsite documentation.
Ensure employees follow safety initiatives and policies.
Coordinate with other departments and general contractors with minimal supervision.
Maintain accurate as-built drawings and documentation.
