Job summary

RealPage seeks a Fintech Counsel to serve as the primary legal advisor for payment processing, money transmission, and consumer lending. You will guide product design, regulatory compliance, banking and service provider relationships, and data rights across RealPage Payments, ResidentDirect, ClickPay, and Livble.

You will support M&A due diligence, regulatory examinations, and consumer protection compliance while partnering with senior leadership to drive strategic growth in a fast-paced fintech

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school; active bar in good standing.
• Minimum five years of legal experience focused on financial services, payments, or consumer financial products.
• Experience advising on payment processing, MSB operations, and consumer lending.
• Familiarity with federal consumer financial laws including BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, TILA, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, GLBA.
• Experience negotiating financial services agreements and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal review and guidance on design and launch of financial products across RealPage platforms.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams from ideation through go-to-market to mitigate risk.
• Advise on payment networks, card brand rules, ACH rules, and state/federal regulations.
• Support regulatory examinations, filings, and open change notifications.
• Assist in due diligence for M&A and strategic planning as needed.
