Job summary

Medidata in Iselin, NJ is seeking a Sr. Manager for FinOps Platform Engineering to design, build, and ship the FinOps tooling and automation that unify cost and usage data from AWS, Snowflake, and our data cloud.

You will own data pipelines, enforce tagging, create self-service cost insights, and partner with Engineering and Finance to drive cost visibility and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software/data/platform engineering or DevOps with FinOps or cloud-cost focus.
• Experience building AI coding tool integrations for production engineering.
• Strong coding, SQL, API and data pipeline design skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain tooling and integrations for cost and usage data.
• Create self-service tooling and APIs for internal stakeholders.
• Own data pipelines and reconciliation logic for dashboards.
• Automate cost allocation, showback/chargeback, and unit economics.
