Job summary

Medidata Solutions is seeking a Sr. Manager FinOps Platform Engineering to design, build, and own the FinOps tooling stack.

You will connect AWS, Snowflake, and our data cloud into a unified platform, enforce tagging at deploy time, and empower engineering and product teams with self-service cost insights. You will own data pipelines, dashboards, anomaly detection, and cost-allocations, while partnering with architecture and program management to drive the platform roadmap and automation

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Software/Data/Platform/DevOps with FinOps or cloud-cost focus.
• Fluency with AI coding tools integrated into production workflows.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; skilled in designing APIs and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain FinOps tooling and integrations (AWS, Snowflake, HDC).
• Create tagging enforcement and validation pipelines for cost governance at deploy time.
• Develop self-service tools and APIs for cost and usage insights on demand.
