Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field required
• 4–5+ years of cloud engineering/FinOps experience preferred
• Strong understanding of cost drivers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with Python and data analytics tools

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud cost and usage across AWS, Azure, and GCP, focusing on tagging enforcement, anomaly detection, and optimization follow-up
• Maintain cloud cost observability dashboards, scorecards, unit-economics views, and usage trends
• Investigate cost spikes by correlating architecture, utilization, and operational events
• Ensure continuous operational coverage by identifying gaps in cost governance processes and implementing improvements
• Serve as a technical point of contact for cloud consumers and application teams, translating cost and usage patterns into engineering guidance
• Facilitate recurring cloud consumption and optimization reviews across IT
• Lead small-to-medium optimization initiatives with measurable impact
• Develop automation solutions in Python to improve FinOps operations
• Integrate cost controls and tagging validation into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with Finance to provide reliable cloud cost data and tooling
