Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. in Oak Creek, Wisconsin seeks a Finished Goods Planning Manager to coordinate with Operations, Scheduling, and Customer Service to maintain inventory to meet customer needs while balancing production capacity.

You will lead Continuous Improvement initiatives, align stocking strategies, report to the Supply Chain Manager, and guide a team of planners to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years (7–10 preferred) in supply chain in a high-performance manufacturing facility as planner/buyer.
• MRP or DDMRP experience and understanding is required.
• APICS/ASCM CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookup) highly recommended.
• Power BI or SQL experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead team of Finished Good Planner/Schedulers
• Communicate with Customer Service and Operations teams to provide accurate updates on current and planned batches
• Participate in monthly SIOP Supply Review and Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) driving actions to meet demand and elevate all critical supply gaps.
• Collaborate with our site team leaders and demand planning team to ensure supply plan and inventory planning processes align with future demand.
• Support team to review and maintain system settings for stocking strategies on continual basis
