PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Coordinator for the 1st shift at our Oak Creek, WI plant. You will ensure efficient deliveries, design distribution procedures, and analyze freight costs to minimize expenses while maximizing customer satisfaction.

This onsite role reports to the Logistics Supervisor and requires coordination across Final Inspection and Customer Service teams. The position demands 1+ year of shipment experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and adherence to DOT/IMDG/IATA

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of shipment experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel/Word essential for tracking.
• Certification and processing of Dangerous Goods per DOT/IMDG/IATA required.

Responsabilidades

• Process shipments in the ERP system.
• Create Bills of Lading for shipments.
• Prepare hazardous shipping papers.
• Coordinate with Final Inspection, Marketing, and Customer Service for on-time deliveries.
• Process shipments on carrier websites for domestic and international destinations.
• Contact carriers for pickups and process ASNs per customer requirements.
• Support Export Control on export shipments.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
