Job summary

PPG is seeking a Finished Goods Supervisor to lead planning across multiple US locations. The role drives production scheduling, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement within the USCA Powder supply chain network.

You will manage a high‑performing planning team, coordinate with Operations, Demand Planning, and Procurement, and ensure alignment with customer service targets and working capital objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling, manufacturing operations, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, production scheduling, inventory management, ERP or advanced planning systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading planners, schedulers, or other supply chain professionals in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or similar planning tools preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification, IBP/S&OP experience, or Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Finished Goods Planners, Production Schedulers, and Toll Production Planners across multiple locations.
• Provide leadership and backup for Finished Goods Planning, Production Scheduling, and Toll Production Planning.
• Ensure production plans balance demand, capacity, inventory strategy, lead times, and priorities.
• Lead production prioritization, schedule governance, and corrective actions; drive adherence and consistency.
• Own Finished Goods inventory health, customer service, and schedule execution performance.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Service, Demand Planning, and other teams to resolve constraints.
• Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP), capacity planning, and network balancing.
• Drive planning standardization and continuous improvement across the network.
