Job summary

CountryPlace Mortgage in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Financial Transaction Analyst to drive data modeling, pricing models, and risk management in a hands-on, in-person role at our Plano office.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to enhance reporting, optimize processes, and deliver insights to improve profitability and governance. Must have extensive financial analysis and SQL experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics.
• 7+ years of experience in financial analysis in mortgage/financial services.
• MSP experience preferred.
• SQL experience with data warehouses.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data modeling for investor transactions and due diligence.
• Prepare and reconcile investor data tapes and servicing data.
• Manage end-to-end transaction lifecycles and governance documentation
• Coordinate investor and due diligence requests with stakeholders
• Conduct financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and quantitative reporting
• Partner with Capital Markets, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams
• Ensure governance and regulatory compliance in all activities
• Monitor portfolios and identify risks with proactive resolution
• Prepare executive presentations and data-driven insights
