Job summary

CountryPlace Mortgage, a leading lender in Plano, TX, seeks a Senior Financial Transaction Analyst to lead data modeling for investor transactions, pricing models, and risk management within the Finance Department. This in-person role focuses on data governance and regulatory reporting to enhance profitability.

You will collaborate with Capital Markets, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to support investment decisions and ensure audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics.
• 7+ years of financial analysis experience in mortgage or financial services.
• Experience with MSP and Encompass preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Advanced MS Office capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead data modeling for investor transactions and due diligence activities.
• Prepare, reconcile, and validate investor data tapes and servicing data.
• Manage end-to-end transaction lifecycles and governance documentation.
• Coordinate investor and due diligence requests with regulatory and audit inquiries.
• Conduct financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and quantitative reporting.
• Partner cross-functionally to support investment decisions and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor governance readiness and risk, escalating issues as needed.
• Analyze data using SQL and advanced Excel to deliver insights.
• Prepare executive presentations with data-driven insights.
