Job summary

Utah Retirement Systems in Salt Lake City seeks a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to own the Finance Division’s accounting and reporting systems, ensuring design integrity, performance, and a long‑term roadmap. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
• Five years of progressive experience supporting or analyzing financial systems (GL, AP, budgeting, reporting).
• CPA or CGFM/CISA preferred.
• Experience in system design/configuration and testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Finance system landscape (GL, AP, budgeting, reporting).
• Ensure data integrity across interfaces and validate end-to-end data flows.
• Configure and test system settings, workflows, security, and reporting structures.
• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support and resolve system issues with Finance staff.
• Coordinate with IT for system enhancements and project tracking.
• Design and maintain management, operational, and compliance reports.
• Ensure data security, access controls, and audit readiness.
• Maintain change logs and support documentation and user validation.
