Job summary

Utah Retirement Systems is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to coordinate and support defined benefit and defined contribution reports, files, and accounts. You will maintain accurate data and promote standard reporting practices across employer groups.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work with Finance and other URS departments on related processes. A focus on accuracy and confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus four (4) years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, financial industry customer service, communication or related field; or similar progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills including written reports, business correspondence, and clear interaction with members and employer groups.

Responsibilities

• Responds to employer questions regarding profiles, access rights, navigation, and tools.
• Researches employer account balances, member accounts, and related data.
• Educates employers on identifying and correcting reporting errors in payroll files.
• Maintains retirement account data and coordinates communications with employers and members.
• Generates reports and assists with employer onboarding and data validation.
