Job summary

Exelon Corporation in Chicago seeks a senior IT professional to provide support, configuration services and application administration for Exelon’s enterprise-wide EWS finance applications.

You will coordinate with IT and the Finance Community to prioritize work, implement fixes, maintain training materials and ensure SOX controls and audit readiness.

Strong analytical, communication and project management skills are required, with ability to operate across multiple finance systems and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or computer science.
• 5-8 years' experience in accounting, finance, public accounting or financial system related position.
• Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and SOX/internal controls.
• Some supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and related technology.
• Commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and team working capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for business processes and monthly, quarterly and annual business cycle deliverables in EWS applications.
• Perform configuration management, implement system fixes, updates and enhancements, working closely with Exelon IT and the Finance Community.
• Maintain application training materials, job aids and online help for the Finance community.
• Facilitate business process improvement through the use of technology.
• Coordinate change impacts with other systems as appropriate and with the Finance Community.
• Maintain required documentation to support SOX and other regulatory controls and audit requests where applicable.
