Job summary

Exelon is seeking a senior IT professional to provide application support, configuration services and administration for enterprise-wide finance applications (EWS). You will work with IT and the Finance Community to prioritize and deliver changes that enable accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include system configuration, training materials maintenance, business process improvements and ensuring SOX/internal controls are upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or computer science; 5–8 years in accounting/finance or financial systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and SOX/internal controls.
• Some supervisory experience and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to high standards of quality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for finance processes in EWS across monthly/quarterly/annual cycles.
• Perform configuration management, system fixes, updates and enhancements with IT and Finance.
• Maintain training materials, job aids and online help for the Finance community.
• Facilitate business process improvements through technology.
• Coordinate change impacts with other systems and the Finance Community.
• Maintain documentation to support SOX and other regulatory controls.
