Position Overview
The Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst assists in all budget related needs and financial reporting and analysis for the Budget Office. This position is involved in all activities associated with the preparation and implementation of the Annual Operating Budget. As a member of the Budget Office team, this position interacts with all staffing levels at HSC, including Executive leadership, VPs, Deans, faculty, department heads and administrators. Additionally, this position interacts with external customers including the Legislative Budget Board and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Computer Skills: Axiom, PeopleSoft, Microsoft or other similar applications Financial Skills: Advanced financial analysis and budgeting principles People Skills: Requires significant customer service Abilities: Mentors junior team members and collaborates with team members
