Job summary

KPMG LLP in Boston is seeking a Senior Associate in Financial Due Diligence for our Deal Advisory practice. You will participate in buy-side and sell-side engagements providing financial and commercial due diligence and advisory services to Fortune 1000 clients and PE firms.

You will interface with senior executives, analyze target data to identify earnings quality, working capital considerations, and potential liabilities that impact valuation and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction experience at a top public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA eligible; CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, IFRS, M&A, or transaction services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements with financial and commercial due diligence.
• Interface with senior client executives.
• Analyze data to identify earnings quality, working capital considerations, liabilities, and risks affecting valuation.
• Create tailored transaction advisory reports on key issues.
