Job summary

AST, based in Tacoma, WA, seeks a Controller to lead the accounting department, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and internal controls. The role collaborates with executives, auditors, and cross-functional teams to drive policy improvements.

You will manage billing, AR/AP, month-end close, tax filings, and reporting, while optimizing ERP usage and enabling data-driven decisions. A strong Excel background and ERP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible accounting/finance experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and monitor financial and cost analysis processes.
• Ensure accounting/finance responsibilities are completed accurately and compliant; interface with auditors.
