Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to provide financial leadership for the Gears Solutions Division based in Park City, UT and Macomb, MI. The role partners with operations and the local accounting team to drive strategic decisions, manage all accounting functions, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include close processes, budgeting, variance analysis, costing, and audits, with leadership over the accounting department and collaboration with executives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Master's Degree preferred).
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• 8–10 years of accounting experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience overseeing monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
• Strong financial reporting and compliance background.
• Ability to oversee audits, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting department including billing, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, A/P, A/R, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition.
• Provide financial analysis to operations leaders and executives to drive strategic decisions.
• Oversee audits and regulatory reporting; ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Develop and implement long-term financial plans and annual operating plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build accurate forecasts and cost controls.
