Triumph Geared Solutions, based in Park City, UT, is seeking a Sr. Financial Controller to lead the Division's accounting for Park City (and Macomb, MI). You will partner with Operations and executives to drive strategic financial decisions and manage the accounting team.
Responsibilities include billing, GL, cost, inventory, payroll, budgeting, tax compliance, and audits, with ITAR compliance and robust internal controls. CPA preferred; 8–10 years in manufacturing accounting are ideal.
Based in Park City, UT, Triumph Geared Solutions is a leading independent aerospace gear and gear box supplier for the commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets and employs approximately 200 employees. The Company’s key products and services include power transmission systems, integrated gearbox design and builds, airframe mounted accessor drives (AMAD’s), engine mounted accessory drives (EMAD’s), rotorcraft transmissions, turboshaft internal gearboxes, emergency power gearboxes, and large complex aero gears for both OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.
Park City, UT lies east of Salt Lake City in the western state of Utah. Framed by the craggy Wasatch Range, it’s bordered by the Deer Valley Resort and the huge Park City Mountain Resort, both known for their ski slopes.
Triumph is looking for a Sr. Financial Controller (Accounting) to be responsible for providing financial support to Gears Solutions Division in Park City, UT, and Macomb, MI location. The incumbent of the role can be based out of either location.
This position will be a key business partner and will interact very closely with Operations leaders and executives, as well as the local accounting team to drive business decisions and provide analysis and recommendations on key strategic initiatives that are important to the success of the business. This position will also lead the local teams of accounting resources to be responsible for high-level accounting, managerial accounting, and oversee the financial activities of the company. As head of the accounting department, the controller will manage and supervise all aspects of accounting including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.
