Job summary

Triumph Geared Solutions in Park City, UT, and Macomb, MI, seeks a Senior Financial Controller to lead accounting, budgeting, and financial planning, partnering with Operations and executives to drive performance.

The role heads the accounting department, overseeing billing, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, audits, and regulatory compliance, providing strategic analyses to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Master's Degree preferred).
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in public/private accounting; at least 3 years in manufacturing.
• Experience overseeing monthly/quarterly/annual close processes.
• Strong financial reporting and compliance background.
• Ability to oversee audits, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward goals.
• Direct the accounting department in A/P, A/R, inventory, month-end closing, and GL maintenance.
• Lead long-range financial planning, capital planning, and budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with operations to build strategic plans and annual operating plans.
• Support monthly forecasting and present insights to leadership for decision making.
• Prepare reports summarizing income, expenses, and earnings.
