Job summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a Financial Controller to join its resort leadership team. You will partner with operational leaders across hotel, spa, golf, marina, and membership to drive financial strategy and performance.

This is a hands-on role in a complex, multi‑revenue environment. Responsibilities include leading month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring robust internal controls, while mentoring the accounting staff and collaborating with cross-functional partners to improve

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Direct hospitality experience is required; resort experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Oversee GL, AP/AR, payroll, income audit, and purchasing.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across revenue streams.
• Manage audit, compliance, tax reporting, and internal controls.
• Oversee cash flow, multi-entity activity, and capital planning.
