Job summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort, a Crescent Hotels & Resorts property, seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting for a multi-revenue resort. You will partner with department leaders to translate financial insight into action, manage close and reporting, and drive internal controls across a busy property.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10+ years in hospitality finance, hands-on leadership, and strong GAAP knowledge. This on-site role offers full benefits and relocation support where needed.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership.
• Direct hospitality experience required; resort experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, close, budgeting, audits and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Oversee GL, AP/AR, payroll, income audit, and purchasing.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across revenue streams.
• Manage audit, compliance, tax reporting, and internal controls.
• Oversee cash flow, multi-entity activity, and capital planning.
• Partner with operational leaders and translate data for non-finance stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements across systems, tools, and workflows.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff; foster cross-functional collaboration.
