Job summary

Atlas Search in New York seeks an experienced Application Support Specialist to ensure uptime for trading and non-trading systems and drive issue resolution.

You will investigate errors, support ad-hoc reporting, data migrations, and system integration; document issues, communicate status to stakeholders, and build automation using SQL Server, stored procedures, views, and PowerShell. This role requires collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure reliability and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in application support/development within financial services.
• Strong MS SQL Server (stored procedures, views, scripts) and SSRS experience.
• Proficiency with web technologies, SDLC, and scripting (PowerShell a plus).

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve application errors and data issues for business users.
• Support ad-hoc reporting, testing, data migration, and system integration.
• Track and document issues; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Provide occasional off-hours testing support.
• Build automation, scripts, and stored procedures.
