Job summary

The Senior Financial Analytics & Reporting Analyst at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will serve as the senior contributor on the Finance Data Analytics & Reporting team, developing and maintaining financial reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data solutions to support budgeting and forecasting.

You will partner with Finance, HR, ITS and campus stakeholders to deliver accurate insights, ensure data governance, and translate complex financial data into actionable guidance for

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial data structures and HR/payroll data.
• Proven ability to lead complex financial reporting initiatives that support executive decision-making.
• Experience interpreting financial data for leadership audiences.
• Knowledge of internal controls and reporting standards for accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
