Job summary

The Senior Business Analytics Analyst at University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will serve as a senior analytical consultant supporting enterprise decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives across the university. You will lead complex analytics, partner with leadership, and design scalable reporting solutions to improve institutional outcomes.

Reporting to the Director, you will drive data integration, modeling, and governance while mentoring analysts and advancing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
6-7 years of progressively responsible experience in BI, analytics, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, or related analytical functions.

Responsibilities

Leads the design, development, and optimization of enterprise dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Partners with senior leadership to identify analytical needs and KPIs; develop enterprise reporting strategy.
Designs and maintains advanced analytical models, forecasting methodologies, and decision‑support frameworks.
Leads budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and institutional reporting analyses.
Develops scalable reporting workflows using enterprise data sources and data governance practices.
