Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Quant to join its Global Finance team in New York or Los Angeles, offering a hybrid schedule. You will build financial models for transactional deals across Emerging Companies & Growth, Capital Markets, M&A, and Private Equity, supporting lawyers with analysis.

Key duties include refining client-ready models, communicating insights to partners and clients, developing training materials, mentoring analysts, and safeguarding confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics/finance/accounting/business required.
• CFA qualification preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, consulting, or M&A.
• 5+ years of cumulative experience.
• Experience on transactional engagements in time-sensitive environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Producing and refining client-ready financial models for transactions and communicating analyses to partners, associates, and clients.
• Advising the internal deal team and clients on methodologies, data assumptions, and conclusions.
• Participating in learning education classes for quantitative analysis and financial modelling work.
• Maintaining training materials and mentoring other analysts; promoting teamwork and best practices.
