Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Quant in New York or Los Angeles to build and refine financial models for transactional deals across corporate practice groups, including Emerging Companies & Growth, Capital Markets, M&A, and Private Equity.

The role demands strong analytical and communication skills, with 3+ years of financial analysis experience and a CFA preferred. Hybrid work options are available, with proximity to Downtown LA or NYC offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, finance, or related field.
• CFA qualification preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, consulting, or M&A.
• Minimum of five (5) years of cumulative experience.
• Experience on transactional engagements in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce and refine client-ready financial models and present analyses to partners and clients.
• Advise internal deal teams and clients on data, methods, and assumptions.
• Participate in learning education classes for quantitative analysis and financial modelling.
• Maintain and update training materials and mentor other analysts.
• Promote teamwork and protect confidential information.
