Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst and Team Lead to support the Critical Technologies portfolio within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering Resources Directorate. The role covers all phases of PPBE, budget execution, and budget documentation in a 100% on-site Alexandria, VA setting.

Ideal candidates have DoW PPBE experience, DoW or Service Component HQ budgets, and a proven track record leading diverse financial teams to meet tight timelines and

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required; TS/SCI preferred and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years or Master’s with 8+ years in accounting, finance, or business.
• Significant DoW PPBE and DAI experience essential.
• Proven leadership of diverse teams delivering high performance.
• Strong written and oral communication and DoW funding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and mentor the team’s daily tasks, including subcontractors.
• Guide government lead and personnel within the Directorate.
• Develop POM and Budget Estimate Submission for R&E and manage budgets.
• Prepare analyses of programs, trends, and budget justification material.
• Prepare briefs for DoW leadership and review funding documentation.
• Monitor DoW program execution, funding releases, and obligations.
