Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)) with all PPBE phases. The role requires experience with DoW budgeting and PPBE processes at senior levels, and an active security clearance.

This full-time onsite position is at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities include developing POMs, preparing budget materials, and monitoring funding, obligations, and expenditures to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and active SECRET clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or finance with 10+ years of experience or Master’s with 8+ years.
• Experience supporting senior financial management and budget execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) and Budget Estimate Submission for R&E.
• Analyze budgetary trends and prepare briefings for DoW leadership.
• Review funding documentation and monitor budget execution and disbursements.
