Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the OUSW(R&E) Resources Directorate across PPBE activities. You will work on POM and Budget Estimate submissions, manage budget reviews, and support funding execution in DAI and related systems.

The role requires DoD budgeting experience, TS/SCI eligibility preferred, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Work is on-site in Alexandria, VA with a focus on milestones and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, or finance with 10+ years of experience; or Master’s with 8+ years.
• Significant experience with DAI and other DoW financial systems.
• Experience supporting senior financial management and budget execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Access.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist OUSW(R&E) in developing the Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) and Budget Estimate Submission for R&E.
• Manage internal R&E budget reviews and change/budget proposals; manage budget entries in Excel and databases; develop budget justification material.
• Monitor DoW program execution and funding distribution; track obligations and expenditures.
• Prepare documentation to support PPBE processes, including R1–R4 and program briefs.
• Process financial and budgetary actions in the DAI system and related databases.
• Identify baseline financial processes and design target processes.
• Prepare analyses of program effectiveness and budget trends.
• Prepare briefings for DoW leadership and participate in Mid-Year Reviews.
• Assist in audit readiness and data calls.
