Job summary

State of Colorado is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to organize, interpret, and report the Administration & Finance Division’s financial data in line with GAAP and GASB. You will partner with the Finance Manager and CFO and provide financial oversight for a large portfolio across multiple divisions.

You will support financial reconciliations, reporting, budget development, and budget management, including CBMS, BITS, and CDHS shared expenses, delivering clear insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial management, analysis, and planning.
• Advanced technical skills to handle and synthesize "large and complicated datasets" into actionable insights.
• Experience rolling up complex financial data into consolidated, clear reports for senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making.
• Proven ability to analyze and synthesize shared funding models, cross-departmental cost allocations, and shared expenses.
• Experience acting as a "driven self-starter" who can build processes from scratch and lead transformational change.
