Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Financial Analyst / Site Lead with a Secret clearance to support our government customer in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

Responsibilities include providing integrated financial management support, ERP system analysis, auditing and reporting, and coordinating with the Army DFAS and MAD/DFAS. The role leads a 10-person team and requires strong collaboration and compliance with security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business from an accredited University.
• 7-12 years’ experience in spending chain with the Army's DFAS, FMS, GFEBs or other DoD ERP.
• Experience utilizing tools and applications to improve operational efficiencies through automation.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and be a self-starter.
• Military experience preferred.
• Must have worked in the US for the past 2 years.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis and report generation of financial execution activities within GFEBS including CRA, reprogramming actions, UFRs, and other activities.
• Assist in maintaining and tracking funded reimbursable authority.
• Interface with ASA(ALT) MAD and DFAS as needed.
• Support Mid-Year Review and Execution Reviews.
• Support requests for FMS Admin funds and track their execution.
• Lead Internal Operating Budget Team monitoring bank health and contract obligations.
• Support audit activities related to financial data.
• Adjust closed accounts for financial transactions per regulation.
• Interpret data from various systems to obtain data and conduct analysis.
• Facilitate communication between employees and PM to enhance open lines of communication.
• Participate in planning of employee engagement activities.
• Translate the PM's high-level goals into daily taskings for a 10-person team, serving as data conduct back to the remote office.
• Collect, verify, and push daily sitreps and labor metrics to the PM for MSRs.
• Review and approve employee timesheets and leave with accuracy.
• Verify expense report submission or review and approval from PM.
• Participate in PMR and quarterly client review meetings.
• Ensure government personnel do not directly supervise contractor staff.
• Resolve client concerns and project bottlenecks before impacting the contract.
• Assist with onboarding activities including base operations protocol.
• Mitigate operational risks and execute corrective action plans.
• Maintain vigilance over workspace security per SCIF, SIPR/NIPR and OPS rules.
