Job summary

Elbit Systems of America, LLC in Roanoke, VA seeks a Financial Analyst to analyze revenue, cost, and profitability for the Warfighter Systems division and to support Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Program Management.

You will generate reports, monitor revenue recognition under ASC 606, lead reconciliation cycles, manage project finance data in the ERP system (Infor preferred), and drive cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA/CMA is a plus but not required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant Accounting/Finance work experience.
• Direct experience in revenue and cost accounting, government contracting, and manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of ASC 606, GAAP, SOX, and ERP systems (Infor preferred).
• Excellent analytical, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Advanced MS Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely reports on Sales & Margin and Orders; analyze revenue, COGS, production costs, and variances.
• Lead monthly Revenue & Cost of Goods Sold reconciliation; own revenue recognition processes including closing and audit activities.
• Set up new projects in the financial system; analyze revenue/invoicing, cost/inventory, and balance sheet accounts.
• Support POCC accounting for select government projects; project setup, revenue/cost analysis, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead); identify cost drivers and opportunities for efficiency.
• Establish and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead; review annually.
• Assist with inventory valuation and regular reconciliations; support inventory control strategies.
• Support quarterly inventories and weekly cycle counts; review bonded stock and ship-in-place inventory.
• Perform monthly closing activities and reporting; manage account reconciliations; utilize BlackLine for closing/tracking.
• Ensure GAAP and SOX controls; support EY audits.
• Collaborate with Finance & IT on legacy ERP and new Infor ERP implementation at Roanoke site.
