Job summary

Elbit Systems of America, LLC Roanoke is seeking a Financial Analyst to drive revenue, cost, and profitability analysis for the Warfighter Systems division. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, Business Development, and Program Management to provide data-driven insights that influence strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Experience with revenue and cost accounting, government contracting, and manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, GAAP, and SOX controls; ERP systems experience (Infor preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel skills including complex formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate reports on sales, margins, and orders; analyze revenue, COGS, production costs, and variances.
• Lead monthly Revenue & COGS reconciliations; manage revenue recognition processes, close, reporting, and audit support.
• Own program/project finance activities; set up projects in the financial system and reconcile financial data.
• Support POCC accounting for government projects; set up projects, revenue, cost, and related balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead) and identify cost drivers for efficiency.
• Establish and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Assist with inventory valuation and regular reconciliations; support inventory control strategies.
• Support quarterly physical inventories and weekly cycle counts; manage bonded stock review and audits.
• Perform monthly close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations using BlackLine; ensure GAAP/SOX compliance.
