Job summary

CJ Schwan’s Company in Hopkins, MN seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support the retail CPG business with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The role partners across functions to drive performance and actionable insights in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Business (MBA preferred) and 5+ years of financial analysis experience, with advanced Excel and experience in SAP/SQL/BEx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; MBA preferred
• 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in retail CPG
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Advanced Excel and MS Office; SAP, SQL, BEx or similar tools
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving and project management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to influence stakeholders
• Self-driven team player in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis for the retail CPG business
• Analyze financial and operational performance including profitability and costs
• Support timely budget, forecast and monthly reporting processes
• Partner cross-functionally to drive business planning and improvements
• Develop financial models and perform ROI, pricing, costing, and investment analyses
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
• Manage monthly allocations across business units
• Support ad hoc analyses and special projects
