Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst at our corporate headquarters in Minnesota to support the Transportation team with complex financial analyses.

The role focuses on data transformation, forecasting, cost analyses, and ad-hoc projects, using Excel, Power BI, SAP BEx and other analytics tools.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting and 5+ years of relevant experience; salary ranges from $75,000 to $125,000 with a 10% incentive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related financial analysis experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP) and Power BI experience.
• Familiarity with transportation cost models and end-to-end financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Transform financial and operational data into actionable insights for management.
• Develop queries and consolidate datasets; automate reporting in Excel and Power BI.
• Forecast, analyze and interpret financial and operating data including P&L and depreciation.
• Partner with Transportation leadership to advise on operational adjustments and budgets.
