Job summary

CJ Schwan's seeks an experienced financial analyst to transform data into insights and support forecasting for transportation and logistics. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of related financial analysis experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or transportation.
• Familiarity with transportation cost models – FTL, LTL, ocean, parcel, and consolidation.
• Advanced proficiency in Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Deep expertise in Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and XLOOKUP.
• Strong skills in Power Query and Power BI for data transformation and automation.
• Experience with SAP BEx to create, edit, and audit queries.
• Experience with SAP BEx and analytics tools: E2open TMS, Breakthrough Fuel, Czarlite, PC*Miler, DAT Analytics, Xeneta benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Transformation: transform financial and operational data into meaningful information and actionable insights.
• Financial Reporting & Forecasting: report, analyze, forecast, and interpret financial data including P/L, cost analysis, regional performance.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: prepare complex financial analysis reports and ad-hoc projects.
• Operational Support: act as financial business partner to Transportation leadership, communicate and advise on variances.
• Mentorship: mentor and evaluate lower-level staff and assist other teams as required.
