Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent education.
• 3-5 years of Research Finance or Grant Accounting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and word processing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of customers, internally and externally.
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile monthly GL data.
• Maintain costing tables, including overhead allocations for cost processing.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports, including standard and ad hoc reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of departments, clinics, and patient information.
• Compile financial information and assist in reports from Workday.
• Use software to assemble data in a user-friendly format.
• Keep abreast of laws and regulations affecting the finance field.
• May design or lead training for staff.
• Manage operational activities to properly bill and charge accounts.
• Provide information to leadership and departments on account status.
