Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Research Finance or Grant Accounting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and word processing.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, present data clearly and communicate with a wide variety of customers.
• Must work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
• Willingness to learn federal/state cost reporting requirements and hospital finance fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile monthly GL data.
• Maintain costing tables, including statistics and overhead allocations.
• Assist in development and distribution of financial and statistical reports, including standard and ad hoc reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of departments, clinics, and patient information.
• Compile financial information and assist in reports from Workday.
• Use spreadsheets and databases to assemble and format data clearly.
• Provide information to leadership and external parties regarding account status.
• May design or lead training initiatives for staff.
