Job summary

Unknown Client, a leading manufacturer of aero and industrial gas turbine components, seeks a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to support plant finance, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. The role includes complex cost accounting, SOX compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Relocation to West Michigan is offered with a full package; remote start for 30–60 days is allowed during relocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills; able to synthesize data and act with incomplete information.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication; able to work cross-functionally beyond accounting/finance.
• Expert user of Microsoft Office; experience with Epicor, Oracle, and Hyperion is a plus.
• U.S. person status and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial forecasts and weekly updates; analyze financial and operational results.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and inventory analysis.
• Conduct self-assessment audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Review and report monthly manufacturing variances and plant expenses affecting job costing (raw materials, inventory, cost of production labor, outplant, R&D, and indirect costs).
• Support departmental budgeting with analysis and periodic reporting of key metrics.
• Assist auditors during facility audits; support pricing and profitability analyses.
• Report actual results and performance measures to corporate monthly.
• Prepare and post journal entries and perform other accounting tasks as needed.
