Augmentis is representing a leading aero/manufacturing client seeking a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to join the West Michigan team with a comprehensive relocation package. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls across manufacturing and cost accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting/financial experience with training in financial accounting, cost accounting, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills; able to synthesize data and make calls with incomplete information.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; capable of cross-functional collaboration beyond accounting/finance.
• Expert user of Microsoft Office; Epicor, Oracle, and Hyperion experience a plus.
• ITAR: U.S. person status required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly forecasts, weekly updates, and analysis of financial and operational results.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and inventory analysis.
• Conduct self-assessment audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Analyze monthly manufacturing variances and plant costs affecting job costing (raw materials, inventory, labor, indirect costs).
• Support budgeting processes with cross-functional inputs and periodic reporting of key metrics.
• Assist auditors during facility audits.
